SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE &
ACHIEVEMENTS
Having
completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Madras),Chennai,
in the year 2000, he was employed as a Systems Engineer in Tata
Consultancy Services, Hyderabad
for a brief while before he left the software industry behind to pursue his
interests in Indian Culture and spirituality. He worked in collaboration with the
International Forum for India’s Heritage (IFIH) as the National
Coordinator, between 2001-2003. He is presently a Trustee of IFIH.
He
joined the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed University), Coimbatore,
in 2003 where he designed and executed a unique Cultural Education
programme for undergraduate students. He was the Convenor for the Human Excellence Programme at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Coimbatore Kendra and was responsible for
introducing and teaching the Human Excellence course for students of the Bhavan’s
schools.
He has delivered talks at many schools, colleges and universities, including IIT-Madras, IIT-Kanpur, SRM University etc. He
was the recipient of the Yuva Shakti Youth Achievers’ Award 2005
(Tamilnadu) for his commitment and contribution in spreading awareness of India ’s
rich cultural heritage amongst students and the general public.
His
articles on Indian Culture and spirituality are frequently published in
journals like The Vedanta Kesari, Yuva
Bharati, Vijayvaani and Bharat Niti.
He
is the Convenor for the Coimbatore city chapter of Indic Academy. He is also
the Secretary General of Ekal Sansthan Coimbatore and the Joint Secretary of
Bharatiya Itihasa Sankalana Samiti.
